Woodfield 61060 12" Cast-Iron Access Door for Smoke Chamber in Black

This door can be installed on the "indoor" side of a smoke chamber with the use of the optional insulation kit. This door has a screw-type locking mechanism. Four set-screws, not included, help position the door when mortaring it in place.

With the installation of this chimney access door, maintenance is easy, safe, and convenient. When open, the door creates a one foot square window ideal for sweeping, brushing, and clearing out soot. When closed, the heavy duty cast iron door screws shut for a solid, safe lock. With this powerful, easy to use door in place, there will be no need to reach up the chimney from inside the fireplace or from the roof for cleaning.
