We use this microwave for just about everything.
It's features are all great. The slide and glide system is the best We've used. It cooks food evenly and the humidity sensor prevents us from overcooking items when we get distracted. It makes the usual microwave noise but only for the first three seconds or so, then it's really quiet. The lights are super as well as the fan.

It has taken almost no time to get used to this microwave. It's very intuitive and easy to use. As an over the stove microwave it makes perfect sense that the buttons are across the bottom rather than up the side.
I'm currently using the microwave as a recirulation fan until I remodel and attach it to the chimney for exhaust. I really like that the vent is not at the front, but at the top. That way everything isn't blowing on me.

My old microwave didn't have a turntable and I liked that because easier to clean the inside. It seems that NOBODY makes a microwave without the turntable...until now. This LG has a large rectangular tray that moves back and forth...heating evenly without the spinning. The controls on the door give it an upgrade look, all without the upgrade price [...]

I bought this OTR microwave because of the strong ratings some of the other LG products received and the price point. Installation was easy ( I am a bit of a handyman) and the appearance was better than I expected due to the hidden vent. My wife, only being 5'2" likes the controls along the bottom of the door - easier to read and reach. I have never had a microwave that heats so evenly - no hot or cold spots!

I love this microwave! Previously I had a microwave from the 80's so this is a huge step up. I bought the LG line of appliances and of the different microwaves LG had, I liked that this one has the controls at the bottom instead of the side. Not only is it easier to reach (since it's up over the stove) but the design is really nice. Also, the newest model of this microwave has a bright blue interior. I did not want that (I don't know anyone who would) so this model was perfect with all the same features but a white interior (as most microwaves have). Great job LG!!

One concern--when the microwave popcorn bag is placed on the tray, under the shelf, it causes the shelf to rise and spark on the frame. I suggest all popcorn bags be placed ON the shelf to avoid this problem.

This microwave has it all. I selected it because of the innovative side-to-side tray (instead of the standard turntable), which cleverly allows large casseroles in the same space, then found the best price at [...]. Once installed, I knew I'd found the best for the money, and discovered other features I hadn't anticipated. The controls are very easy to figure out the first time, and the optional rack level is very handy. Overall, one of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

[...] had best price in stores or on any website. Microwave has lots of quick features and sensors for defrosting or reheating. Rack is nice for reheating several items - able to take advantage of large capacity. Turntable doesn't rotate, it slides back and forth, so odd shaped dishes don't get stuck. It is a bit loud. Great warranty on magnetron, which is what is going to go out on your microwave if it breaks.
