I purchased these pieces because I really loved the quailty of my orginal set. Upon receiving my new set the quality and design has changed. The weight of the stainless steel silverware is not the same. The pieces don't have the same beautiful curves as orginal set either. Very unsatisfied with the quality. [...]

I bought several of these to replace lost pieces of the same pattern I bought 15+ years ago. The luster is not quite as good as the original. After weighing similar pieces from the new vs. the old set, I also found that some of them (like the teaspoons) are lighter, while others, (like the knives). are actually heavier. Overall, this was a good purchase, given the price and availability.

I bought this to add to my son's existing set, which he's had ten years. They needed more as their family has grown. The original pieces still look as good as new so it was easy to decide to buy more of the same.

Comments about Reed & Barton Hammered Antique 5 Pc Place Setting:
Wanted to add to my existing set and found that it was discontinued. Was happy to have found it here - The only disappointment was that my set was 8/10 and the new set is 10/10 and one was made in China and the other in Korea. It has a little bit of a difference in weight and sheen, but most likely I'm the only one who'll notice!!
