These spoons are long enough to serve the purpose in most classes. The metal is thick enough so that the spoon is not flimsy. I have ordered extra spoons because these spoons are excellent for eating such things as yogurt & etc. When putting away the silverware from the dishwasher, I find that there is always a lot of these that have been used.
