When I first received these glasses, one of them had a flaw. [...] I had been looking for this type of glass for quite some time. My choices up to now were a brandy snifter or a rocks glass (it is, of course, a mortal sin to pour a single malt over a bunch of ice). I'm still not sold on the idea of having a different glass for each wine varietal (I basically have red and white wine glasses), but having these glasses was necessary to properly enjoy single malt scotch. Obviously, the folks at Riedel have put quite a bit of thought into glass design. These were a little more expensive than I usually like to pay for glassware, but you can't exactly find these kind of specialty glasses at [...]

We love these wine glasses - the only problem being (and we've heard it from others) that they are delicate, and break easily. We completely appreciate the shape and function, and cannot bring ourselves to go "stemless" ... if they remain intact, definitely worth the money.

I use these glasses as my everyday wine glasses. The shape is perfect as well as the weight of the glass. It is neither too light nor too heavy, and the wine tastes good in the glass. They are an excellent product for the price. The only drawback, as with any good crystal is that it must be washed by hand.That is ok by me since I have always handwashed my crystal.

The glasses are really nice and there is a definite difference in drinking wine from a nice (real) glass. I like the design and style of the glasses, but they seem very delicate. I always wash them carefully.

We find the glasses delicate, but sturdy. Although one of our favorite restaurants uses them, we wash them by hand - not that big a
deal, and they don't cloud up. The restaurant
has to replace them regularly.

I love all Reidel Vinum glasses and the Sauvignon Blanc are a great addition to my collection. It is also a nice basic white glass for those of us that cannot afford the price or shelf space for every glass that Reidel offers. I am very pleased with the product[...]
