Historically we've used plastic double-walled glasses. These glasses are terrific, attractive, and very functional. Their light weight took some "getting used to" and have to remind ourselves they are glass and to treat them as such. However, we are really enjoying the fact that they can be put in the dishwasher.

I use these glasses for everything from Iced Tea to Hot Lattes. They are great in the summer for cold drinks, they don't sweat and leave water rings on your table. They are also great for hot drinks, you can hold them in your hand without getting burned. They are insulated so they keep whatever you are drinking hot or cold longer.
