Great dishes for all pasta. We are an Italian family and make many pasta dishes. The only concern I have is when I washed them by hand I noticed a dark area (spots)on the inside of the dishes. It went away when they were dry. Not sure how they will hold up so I would not recommend them to a friend. Will wait and see.

Most of the Mikasa is made in Malaysia, but the pasta set is made in China. It is not the same quality. If you are looking for a bargain, then this product by be okay
