These plates are supposed to be microwave-safe, but I have found that they will crack in the microwave. Also they are easily scratched.

I use the dishes daily. Some of the pieces had been chipped and I was happy I could find this pattern online and order all the pieces I needed. Now I have a complete non-chipped set.
