Funny thing is I ordered an Italian Countryside during a pretty good sale at a local department store....and got French Countryside, but I liked it so much that I never complained, and now am adding bit by bit other articls to complete my set: i.e., Butter plates and brunch plates to serve as Luncheon service instead of the heavier dinner plates. Will eventually build a set of 10 instead of 8, over the next few months or years.\
The additions came in good time and beutifully packed. I'm happy that I got a wrong set from the store and can build my set from Online.

I bought 12 place settings of Mikasa French Countryside about 20 years ago and use it daily. The set did not come with bread and butter dishes, so it finally occurred to me to just get rid of the unused cups and saucers and replace them with bread and butter plates which I will use.
