these appeared to be sturdy, everyday dishes that were also attractive . However, they have become crazed simply by being used and washed in the dishwasher ( no heat drying!!) Where they are crazed, gray stains have appeared. Also they chip very easily and cannot be put in the microwave.
I wouldn't recommend them for everyday and they are too rustic for formal table setting.
