The pattern and color are beautiful and subtle. The sizes of the dinner, lunch, and teaplates are perfect. The lunch size can be used for all 3 meals. The dinner size is great for buffet or a salad main course. Tea plates are great for sides, bread and butter, or snacks. Plates and bowls fit easily into a regular dishwasher. Plates are durable and not heavy. I use everyday for my own enjoyment.
