I really love this set of dishes and the bowl is very lovely. But it is a bit shallow for practical use. Once filled with thin liquids, you have to be careful as you set it down or it will slosh over the sides. It would be better used for thicker stews, chilis or pastas. It fits well in the dishwasher and is made of high quality materials. And it is very pretty.
