Comments about Water Tech Pool Blaster Max Commercial Grade Pool Cleaner:

Hello, I have the pool Blaster Max, and had the same problem with the standard mesh bag. I happened to have a paint strainer sock, you can buy them at any home improvement store. I placed the sock inside the original bag and allowed the excess to hand over the outside. I was able to put the cap over the excess, and it work like a charm!!!!!It picked up the smallest particals!! The best part is the paint strainer socks are about two bucks!! TRY IT!!!!!

This by far is the best pool cleaner I have ever had. You don't need to hook up hoses, or get any backwash at all. I have to say this is ideal for women too. All the other pool cleaning supplies are too heavy carry. This pool buster picks up sand and grit and bugs too. I recommend this to all my friends that have pools.

Comments about Water Tech Pool Blaster Max Commercial Grade Pool Cleaner:

I bought the product a month ago on the internet, since I would pay 4 times the amount to get it in Cyprus. Two issues bother me: One is that after the first use, I had trouble recharging it! No recharge at all! Secondly, I was interested in getting a fine bag, the one suitable for sand and dirt, but they said I had to pay about $400 fees just for the bag!!!! I'm not sure yet whether it was a waste of money buying this product..

I own the Blue Diamond by Water Tech and that works great. I bought Pool Blaster for when I was hoping to just do a quick job. Forget it. [...]. It has no suction. Basically had to chase things around the pool and almost coax them into the unit. Mine was the CG -- can't imagine how little suction a regular one would have.

I loved the product the first time used except not good for cleaning the top two steps of my pool. My problem is after I plugged in to charge for the next day, it didn't charge battery at all. I guess I will find out how well service is on this unit.

Good for a small inground pool. My pool is a average size and requires a good amount of time to really get it clean. It does a good job though, I am just wishing it had a larger cleaning head to it.

Comments about Water Tech Pool Blaster Max Commercial Grade Pool Cleaner:

Quick and easy to setup and use. It cleans my 16 x 34 pool 3 times on a charge. It could be a little sturdier. I have the CG which is suppose to be 50% more powerful than the Max. From the outside, it says Pool Buster Max with a CG stick-on to indicate the upgrade. I assume it is more than just a sticker that makes it a CG. Fine sand goes through the regular bag. The 'fine' bag may be a good addition. I thought it stated that the CG comes with 2 chargers, but mine had only one, and only listed one on the pack slip.

Works for what I bought it for, but needs to be completely submerged to operate completely so it doesn't work well in shallow areas.

Comments about Water Tech Pool Blaster Max Commercial Grade Pool Cleaner:

It is kind of like trying to hand vaccum your home. It does not pick up leaves, just small debris that can be filtered through your main filter. For me, it was a waste of money.

Comments about Water Tech Pool Blaster Max Commercial Grade Pool Cleaner:

I have the CG model and have installed the wheels on the vacuum head since my pool has a concrete bottom. I can speak only for that configuration and do not know how the machine will work in pools made of other kinds of materials. Basically, I am well-pleased with the machine. It does what it is supposed to do and it does it well. It is easy to use and cleans well, although it would probably be more efficient if the collection bag were a little larger. My pool is about 22 ft. by 40 ft., and is subject to a lot of dirt caused by air deposition, so I have to clean the pool nearly every day. I can do it with the Pool Buster in about 20 to 30 minutes, and the motor has plenty of reserve power in case it might take me longer. I like the machine better than the automatic cleaners I have used, and it is certainly more convenient and faster than hooking up a vacuum to the filter system (not to mention keeping the dirt out of the filter).

However, the instructions leave a lot to be desired, the first issue being the collection bag. The box the machine came in contains (on the bottom) the technical specifications which include a “large reusable fine filter bag.” However, the package contents (printed just underneath the technical specifications) cite one “Reusable Coarse Filter Bag.” The Components and Features section of the instruction manual list an “All Purpose Filter Bag,” with a note that a “Sand and Silt Bag” is available. (Those terms are also used in the Questions and Answers section of the manual). As a result of these inconsistencies in nomenclature, one is left wondering just how many different bags there are, and which one the buyer actually received.

The second issue has to do with charging. The first discrepancy is that the instruction manual states that the unit should be charged overnight prior to first use. However, a tag attached to the on-off switch calls for the unit to be charged for two hours prior to first use. Nowhere in the instruction manual is the normal charge time shown. For this information, the owner must refer to the box which states that the charge time is 1 – 2 hours. The AC charger has a red light which lights when the charger is connected to the machine. We are not told what this red light indicates, the only reference to it being in the question and answer section of the manual in which there is a statement of charging in a “trickle mode.” Aside from that possibility, which I have not yet encountered, there is nothing in the manual or on the box which tells the owner how to determine if the battery is fully charged. The box does contain a statement that the power source includes an “auto cut-off charger,” but we are not told what that means. Presumably, this means that the charger will automatically stop charging when the battery is fully charged, but if so, none of this is explained or described, and one is left wondering what would happen if the unit were left connected to the charger for an unusually long time.

In summary, I would say that the PoolBuster CG is a well-designed and easy to use machine that does its job well. However, the instruction manual needs more explanatory material, and the inconsistencies on the packing box need to be removed.

Comments about Water Tech Pool Blaster Max Commercial Grade Pool Cleaner:

The marketing video clip for Pool Buster CG from Water Tech is deceiving. The clip has mis-leaded the buyer how powerful the motor is and quickly can vacuum away the debris. The motor just is not strong enogh as it claims to do on the video clip.
