Comments about Broil King Imperial XL Double Gas Grill with Side Burner and Rotisserie Backburner - 48,000 Btu - 989684/989687:
I drove 100 miles to Daytona to get this grill and it was worth every mile. I have had one other Broil King grill. After 7 years I gave it to a younger couple who grill 4 days a week. They love it. I upgraded to the Imperial XL and can't find a problem. There are no hot spots and once you get used to the temperature controls, you will be able to hold just the temperature you want. This grill is very predictable. Cooks like a champ: low and slow or for a quick dinner for two in the smaller chamber. Brats for a Gator game party soaking in a beer bath, Steaks for two on Friday night, Burgers for a crowd, or gently cooking salmon and grouper. Fantastic design. Plenty of storage, so no in and out of the house getting what you need. This a sturdy, high quality grill made for a decade or more of 3x weekly grilling. Big parties or just dinner for two. The side burner has plenty of power to do the job unless you want to boil 2 gallons of water...why??? Find an inexpensive LED grill light at your local [...]for $30 and there is nothing else you need. Like having an outdoor kitchen without the expense of the real deal. I am a clean freak...and this grill cleans up easily and nicely!
