This table is absolutely beautiful. We've gone through 3 tables over the last 10 years, because on Martha's VIneyard we have a lot of wind and salty spray. This table is so solid, that we will probably never have to replace it. It is splinter free and very nicely finished. The whole for the umbrella even came with a plug (which is a first) so that when not using an umbrella, the table looks like it has a solid surface.
