The chandelier arrived with one of the six glass lampshades broken. When I asked to have the shade replaced, but the internet retailer (amazingly, the name of the retailer had to be removed to get this published so I cannot really get my message through)sent me an entire new chandelier. I tried twice to avoid this waste through emailing the internet retailer's service department but nothing changed. Two suggestions: Pack the lamp shades with more bubblewrap in between them (three were packed per box with minimum wrapping between - breakage was likely) and have some replacement lampshades on hand. These are the most likely to break and it would cost a lot less to send just the replacement part requested. Plus, I would not have an unused chandelier in my basement.
