I bought this chandelier for my smallish dining room with 8" ceilings and it's perfect! It's substantial enough to make a bold statement, but doesn't overpower the room. It's smaller width is just right at the height I needed to hang it (30" above the table surface.) I put this chandelier on a dimmer switch and it's very dramatic with the lights lowered. Great for setting the atmosphere at dinner parties.
