There are other makes of low voltage wire out there, but none that I could find that were 10 gauge. Most were 12 gauge--though they said they could handle a simiar load. This brand is quite flexible, is easy to run through 1/2" holes, fits perfectly in the ambiance track and is sized for the track lights to pucture the wire correctly and click into the ambience track. I'm very pleased with all 280watts of lights.
