We have a vaulted ceiling and wanted a quiet fan that worked well, was quiet, and looked good. Not only was it all that, but it was a snap to install.

Put one up in each of master BR and in a great room. Used the downrod in the latter, but looked better in BR without, so re-did great room with direct ceiling installation. Fan blade attachment mechanism very clever, and allows for easy removal for cleaning. Certainly took more than 5 minutes, but was faster than similar units without the fan blade cleverness. Looks sharp. Provided CFR bulb provides good, soft, light.
