Feel the strength of Silgranit® granite sinks, featuring the touch and feel of natual stone. Unlike cast iron and soft composite materials, Silgranit® combines the best performing ingedients to produce kitchen sinks that are hygenic, durable, stain resistant, easy-to-clean, and do not absorb odors or bacteria.

Silgranit® contains 80% natural granite, mixed with acrylic resin, which gives the sink its resilience and ability to be molded into striking designs. Pigments provide color, which is present throughout the sink ensuring consistant color and durability. As tough and durable as the are good looking, all Silgranit® sinks are backed by Blanco's limited lifetime warranty.

Non-porous design resists most household stains, including: coffee, tea, mustard beet juice, red wine, and hair dyes.

I installed this sink in a laundry room to replace a low quality plastic sink. These "granite" composite sinks are really nice. Easy to keep clean and low maintenance. I can't yet comment on the long term performance as I just installed it.

One concern I had was there seemed to be some large gaps on the bottom of the sink around all the corners in the cast of the material itself. Perhaps some kind of artifact from manufacturing?

The mounting clips were of good design, though depending on interior cabinet space and cutout size, it may be hard to get the sink to mount flush with all the clips in place.

This white sink has a flat finish to it, which will contrast with any glossy countertop you may have. However, I must say against a granite counter, the sink looks great.

Service & Delivery comments:

The ordering process was smooth and shipping was relatively quick. I even purchased the extra hole cut-out (now that I see it, I should have just done it myself).

When ordering from the internet for these kinds of things, patience is a virtue.
