Yes you pay more than regular garbage bags but the convenience is well worth it if you're buying these for a Brabantia trash bin. Perfect fit, tiny holes at the top of the bag allow the bag to fully drape inside the can without air pockets. I've never had a bag leak even when I push the trash down into the can. I've been using these bags for about 5 years now.
