    I have never owned a batch feed disposal before, but I'm so glad I decided to try it! Those who are new to the batch- you don't need to have a switch installed if the disposal is plugged in instead of hardwired! I did not know this, but our electrician put a switch in anyway in case we decided to go back to the other disposal type. I can't imagine wanting to ever go back though... Batch is great!
