I replaced my old disposal with this unit and it was very easy to install. Instructions were very thorough and complete. It took me about 3 hours to install, including a trip to the hardware store, addition of a GFCI outlet under the sink, and clean-up.

I bought this unit because it was rated highly by Consumer Reports magazine.

This unit has lived up to its billing thus far but I don't recall if the write-up said this unit came with a plug. I had to install an outlet but that wasn't that big of a deal.
