Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This cutting board is of very poor quality. We spent $[...] dollars and it is just falling apart. The board is badly warp and spliting apart. We cleaned it as it recomened. Maybe we may have just gotten a bad one but we are truely disappointed.
