The Brazil French Press coffee maker, designed in the early 80's, was our first coffee maker and quickly became a symbol of what Bodum stands for. The Brazil has a heat resistant, borosilicate glass beaker (the standard for all Bodum French press plungers) and a polypropylene handle and base, which make the Brazil easy to use and easy to clean. The domed lid is made of a smooth matte black polypropylene and has the special Bodum safety and aroma seal to keep your coffee warm for a longer time. Brewing coffee in the Brazil is one of life's great pleasures.

    i have 1 liter chambord and double wall stainless steel bodems. i wanted 2 more so i could boil 2 2 liter teapots and make 4 different teas (for chilling) at the same time. i was online looking for a replacement beaker for the chambord and found that this item is almost the same cost as just the replacement beaker. they pretty much all do the same, this item is very simple and ligt (easy handling)

    This is a quick and efficient machine that produces small amounts of quality coffee. Together with my stainless steel carafe it does a good job for the morning coffee. Just boil water and go!
