Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I own the C15 (the ball) upright vacuum but needed something for the stairs and under the beds. This vacuum is perfect for these jobs and more. It has the same great suction as the uprights, the telescopic pole has lockable positions. The hose has a good length and the power brush is as powerful as any upright. The only issue I have is that the power cord could be a little longer, an issue that is easily forgotten
when you push the retractor button and the cord disappears back into the vacuum.
I'm very happy with Dyson and this vacuum.
