I didn't like this at all! I planned to use this at home on my kitchen and bathroom floors. The only thing I liked about it was the size and weight. I used it 1 time for about 10 minutes I could not get water to stop leaking when inserting the water bottle back into the mop. The mop head kept lifting up when pulling it back, the mop pad came off and finally water came out the bottom. It was not easy to use at all and I am very dissapointed. I ordered 2 of these, 1 for my sister, and I have already cancelled the 2nd order before I recieved it!

this is very disappointing. had to saturate the floor to have it move smoothly. it damages floor easily and I didn't notice any better cleaning than any other much less expensive product. Its going back.

It took a few tries for me to get the hang of this steam mop. You need to use a very light touch and just let it glide along. The mop removes embedded dirt in my hardwood floors that I never knew was there! I have a housekeeper who comes twice a month and she's sold on it too. I like the fact that I don't need to use cleaning products with it.

I love this mop! I had been cleaning my tile floors with a Swifter Wet Mop and after the first cleaning with the Steam Buddy I was appalled at how dirty my floors were. I'm never going back to a Swifter. I do recommend however, that you purchase a replacement set of mop pads because you will be washing them frequently. Great product!

Fast, great cleaning, much easier than a mop and bucket, and the heat is important to me. The fabric covers tend to slip off when wet, however this is a minor nuisance.

This is a nifty little gadget, and is simple to use, but it is not what I expected. I have a lot of tile, and a lot of children who like to dirty it, and was looking for something to make life a little easier. I needed something to clean tile and grout, but it only touches the tile. Sticky stuff is difficult to remove,and takes more effort than mopping, but if it is on the grout, it will not come clean at all. My mother disliked it,too, as it spotted her tile. I like that you can refill the water container whenever, without waiting for the product to cool down, but the cord is way too short, and one of my two terry pads has already broken after just a few uses. I think that it would be fine for a small job, like an apartment kitchen or a small bathroom, but I won't be giving up my mop for this product on a regular basis.

Cons: The cord is short and gets in the way.
Instructions for assembly are not very clear and do not include how to change the filter.
Be prepared for a great workout while using this product.
Pros: The hardwood floors look brand new without the spotting that I had with the conventional mop. I do recommend this product because of its cleaning results.

This product makes cleaning the floors so easy! The steam appears almost instantly, so there's no long waiting. Leaves the floors clean and not too wet.

They stopped making the Bissel Steamm Mop, so when mine broke, I had to find a replacement. This Steamboy product is BETTER made than the Bissel. The head fits better in corners, the pads fit better, the water container is larger and all the parts seem to be made just a little stronger. Functionally, ergonomically and most of the design-wise, it is a duplicate of the Bissel Steam Mop. I am very pleased with this replacement as I cannot do without a steam mop. Not sure how hard it will be to get replacement parts for this, but since they are still making it, it should not be a problem. I highly recommend this steam mop for anyone looking for a replacement for their Bissel Steam Mop or just a very good steam mop. The price is about the same, only it was back ordered for about 6 weeks, but it did eventually arrive. They are probably slammed with orders for all those folks looking to replace their old Bissel's...

After 1st use I was ready to ship it back. It left a dirty residue on my floor. I had to quick mop it to get the floor clean. Once it dried, my grout was noticibly cleaner. The tile felt clean! I have since used it 3 times. This last time, the floor dried perfectly clean/clear with no residue. I think it was initially steaming out alot of built up dirt in the grout. We have hard water, so I use distilled water as it recommends.
It does not get all the way into corners. There is probably a 1" gap that does not get cleaned.
Minor amount of quick cleaning for the results I get.
