It is great for roasting regular hot dogs or larger brats. Overhead warming tray holds buns. The only down side is you can only cook four dogs at a time.

Comments about Nostalgia Electrics Retro Hot Dog Roller - RHD-800:

I found this product to be very nice looking and well constructed. And, it worked as advertised. My mistake was using very fat hotdogs for the first run. Careful placement was necessary to get them to rotate without rubbing together. Regular hotdogs would have been a wiser choice. Between initial warmup and actual cook time, it does take a while, but it is meant to cook slowly while turning the dogs. The machine is completely silent when operating.

Cleanup is very easy with the roller assembly and drip pan removable. but one must wait for the machine to cool down first to prevent getting burned.

If hotdog stand style doggies are your thing, you'll love this machine.
