Toasts bread and bagels perfectly. Heats quickly and avoids wasting energy by using a conventional oven to cook small items. However, there is minimal inside capacity.

This oven is great. It's great with simple things like toasting to perfection and more difficult, like timing a quiche. It is very quick and heats evenly. The display is very simple for a digital and the design is attractive and easy to clean. I looked for convection/toaster oven everywhere and this is the best product I found with the features it has. I bought this to replace my 14-year-old Black & Decker Convection Toaster Oven, which was my workhorse, go-to appliance for toasting AND baking. The Krups looks great, didn't smell when I heated it as recommended and seemed to be very high quality. Unfortunately, the interior is more square than rectangular, so none of my current pans (from the B&D) fit inside it. After a lot of indecision, I returned the Krups and bought another Black & Decker (which doesn't seem to be as well-made as my old one, so we'll see how long IT lasts). Simply came down to needing a bigger and more versatile interior.

Great looking digital oven. Digital timer beats those spring wound timers 'any time'. Very easy to use. No guess work.
