Comments about KitchenAid Slow Cooker - KSC700:

I bought this product because of its large capacity, appearance, and features. Unfortunately I did not check out the dependability. I used this cooker 4-5 times and during that period the crock broke twice during cooking. This is when I discovered through the Kitchen Aid forum that their slow cookers have a defect that causes their crocks to repeatedly break. Kitchen Aid no longer makes slow cookers.

I used my slow cooker on Thanksgiving to cook stuffing and then keep it on buffet setting. It saved oven and serving space.

I bought this for my daughter who is a very active, busy, working 35 year-old health conscious single mom of two active Wiemeraener dogs! She is thrilled and uses her cooker regularly. It's easy to plan many meals from one prep and allows her to save $$ - doesn't have to purchase meals at the local ready-to-go (expensive) health-food grocery.

Comments about KitchenAid Slow Cooker - KSC700:

The cooker is attractive and reliable. My first meal was stewed chicken with vegetables and it did not taste boiled, nor were the veggies under/over done. Instructions easy to follow. Next meal - soaked pinto beans overnight, then cooked with a pork roast and spices - my own recipe, and the chalupa was better than any I'd previously made stove top.
