Die-Cast Indoor BBQ and Grill 800GRXL - The World's Most Versatile Grill

The Grill's arms are die-cast from molten aluminum, while the body is wrapped in high-grad, burshed stainless steel. The result is the ultimate durability and performance, and a superbly refined finish.
The 186-sq. inch professional-grade cooking plates are covered with non-stick Quantanium, blended with titanium to resist scratching and wear. The surface is completely food safe, allows cooking without oil or butter, and is incredibly easy to clean.
The grill expands to 368-sq. inch indoor grill with both ribbed and flat cooking surfaces. The dual plate design enables you to cook everything from eggs to steak, with authentic BBQ results.
The top plate can be adjusted to six pre-set heights. On the lower settings, this unique patented feature reduces the weight pressing upon more delicate foods like fish or vegetables. The higher settings are ideal for making open melt sandwiches or heating pizzas or breads, all but eliminating the need for a toaster oven.
A versatile 'Tilt' feature quickly adjusts the angle of the grill for fat-free cooking or 'Flat' cooking for unwanted run-off for eggs or pancakes.

I bought this grill for my outdoor kitchen to keep the cooking smell away from the house (the manual does not recommend this). It is a very solid-built grill, nice and heavy. It heats up fast even when it is 50 F outside. I love the recipes in the manual and the suggestion not to salt the food before grilling! Thanks Breville!
To clean the grill, I just wipe the surface with wet paper towels and nylon brush while the grill is still warm and the grill looks like new again. I am very happy with my purchase.

Service & Delivery comments:

The delivery to CA took a week and the UPS driver just threw the box on the ground. However, the grill was well packed. There is an original factory box, a shipping box from China to LA, and the shipping box full of peanuts from Homeclick. The total of three layers of protection saved the grill from the rough UPS handlers!

Takes a while to heat up. Did a great job on sandwiches. Sturdy construction. Like hinge action of top grill. Looking forward to grilling chicken or steaks during the winter.

I use this grill to make paninis and also steaks and chops, fish, and anything else, even vegetables. It is versatile because it opens up and becomes two grills in one. It looks spectacular on my granite countertop in my kitchen. I absolutely love it.

This is a first class piece of cooking equipment. I have never had an indoor or outdoor grill. I have been having fun experimenting with cooking different types of food on the grill, sometimes using it open, sometimes closed tightly or sometimes closed with a space between the top plate and the food. It is fun trying different types of foods and cooking them in different ways. I must say that food cooks very quickly on this grill and it is not necessary to put oil on the grill to prevent the food from burning. I am very satisfied with it and would recommend it to others.

A BBQ that actually produces grill marks on the meat. Breville has made a large substantial grill. it's easy to clean, large enough for a group and with a tempature capability that actually cooks the meat instead of steaming it.

This works just as advertized. It cooks well and cleans ups very easily. Makes the best pancakes and eggs with ease, which is a surprise. Grills chicken breasts that are still partially frozen and makes excellent sandwiches. We have not tried open grilling, but all other cooking modes work great.

During the spring and summer months most men develop a close kinship with their grills. An unspoken bond forms between the two. Yet, when winter arrives, the relationship becomes strained and a lack of time spent manning the grill can send a fella spiraling down into a deep depression. Well, maybe not a depression. Now, you can prevent male winter moping with an indoor electric grill. The Breville 800 GRXL is perfect with specially tuned temperature controls that will let you cook everything from a Panini to a slab of beef. For more info, click here.
