Comments about Reliable Professional Steam Boiler-Iron System - i300:
Wish I could stand the iron part up, sometimes get tangled up in the cord...
I am an ironing hater, usually avoiding anything needing to be pressed, but with this, the results are fabulous - even with my cashmere sweaters, and white blouses!
Only need to take one pass and it is properly pressed...amazing and what great results!
Delivery was prompt and as promised...came right on time and as expected...

Comments about Reliable Professional Steam Boiler-Iron System - i300:
This is an essential tool for garment sewing and pressing. Steam output is excellent: no drips, leaks, or condensation. The iron feels balanced and handles well; the boiler needs infrequent refilling, is well-designed, with low-water light, and arial holder to keep steam tubing out of the way.

Comments about Reliable Professional Steam Boiler-Iron System - i300:
I really like this steam generator system. As previously mentioned, it is made for serious use - not a "hobby" model. Although some have had concerns about refilling the tank (not a problem as long as you are careful about letting off the pressure) during use, one filling can go through two whole long days of work. I like the sharp tip and the pressurized steam that gets into the fabric - rather than just boiling up and scalding me. I think the iron has a good weight to it - heavy enough to help do the pressing for you. It does take a little while to heat but it's not a big deal. Just turn it on first thing while you get your work organized and it should be ready when you are. I would definitely recommend the professional vacuum board for best results.

Comments about Reliable Professional Steam Boiler-Iron System - i300:
Make no mistake, this is a commercial unit not a consumer piece of junk (Rowenta, etc). Provides more than sufficient steam (at very high temperature) to take wrinkles out of delicate sweaters without actually having to "press" the sweater. Construction quality is consistent with a commercial product. All stainless steel, made like things were 40 years ago. Made to outlast the owner. Unit heats up and is ready to go in about 5 minutes. Temperature of iron sole plate is a adjustable and can be set hotter than would be needed for any material I know of. When I ordered this unit I also ordered the optional teflon sole plate, as I was concerned the stainless plate might be a problem with thin fabric like silk. My concern was unfounded and I have not yet needed the teflon plate.
Combining this unit with a Reliable Ironing board (which has a built in shelf for the boiler) makes a ideal ironing station. The Reliable ironing board is built to the same high standard.
These Reliable products cost a small amount more than the homeowner stuff, but they are in a totally different league. You get FAR more value for the money with this unit than the mainstream consumer products.
