Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We use this to transport my son's food to day care. I really like it, but the item came with directions only in Japanese, so I don't know if it is dishwasher safe, and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to warm up the hot container. Other than that, it is great. It is a very convenient size for his lunch and then the smaller containers keep his fruit and snacks.
