    this is absolutely one of--if not THE--- most beautiful crystal snowflake I have ever encountered. I have spent many years searching for the perfect one--most were too simple, others were too overdone. Snowflakes carry a very special meaning to me as they represent the loss of a close loved one. When I opened this box after it arrived I had instant "goosebumps" as its beauty left me speechless.

    I have been collecting the Swarovski ornaments for eleven years and this year's ornament is a standout. The design has more snow-flake character than some of the past and the facets reflect light in a very colorful way. My holiday guests commented on how particularly beautiful this year's ornament was. Rather than hang it on the tree, I hung it in the center of my dining area chandelier, just below the lights and it added sparkle to my holiday table day and night. These ornaments are pricey but they are some of the most beautiful annual edition ornaments you'll find.

    We place this ornament next to lights on our Christmas tree, just in front of a red or green glass Christmas ball ornament. This brings out tons of little colors in the crystal ornament, as light bounces off the colored ornaments behind it. Light from the strands on the tree is also refracted in the crystal ornament, producing little rainbows! This 2008 edition ornament is especially lovely because it looks just like a real snowflake - it is thick and substantial and beautiful. We love this ornament!
