The lights are bright and pretty. They are also incredibly inefficient when compared to an equivalent number of LED lights. This string burns 700 Watts while an LED string of the same length would burn about 10 Watts and produce a comparable amount of light. The LED string will last for about 20,000 hours and this string will last about 1,000 hours. The LED string will be more expensive but will pay for itself in electricity savings the first year of use.
