I'm using this product in my living room. The great thing about this product is the hinged, three part branch that open in 3 separate sections to give that one limb the full look. This fir is exactly what I wanted. I don't know how many tips it has but it is a very full tree. I cannot see the middle base pole after opening all of the branches. I really have no cons about this product except for one or two lights that did not light when it was plugged in. That was easily replaced with extra bulbs that came with the tree. This tree rates a 10 in my book for style and price!
