We replaced our bronze fireplace glass and curtain screen unit with the Grand Oak Single Panel Screen. Wow! The difference was unbelievable. The bronze unit minimized the viewing area of the fire and made the fireplace look smaller. The Grand Oak immediately showcased our fireplace and our first fire with it brought a cozy feel to the entire room. This was the best [$]I have spent for a room improvement in a long time. The unit is sturdy, very attractive and we get lots of compliments. We love it !!

I had a hard time finding a firescreen that would fit in a room with a tropical feel to it. Firescreens are obviously not meant for the tropics! However, this one looks attractive and will do the job of keeping fire sparks inside the fireplace. I do wish the "feet" were a little larger for greater stability.
