Comments about Osburn 2400 - High Efficiency EPA Wood Stove - OB0241:

First time I fired the unit on first floor with good seasoned wood it was 96 degrees on first floor 980 sq.ft, second floor was 78 degrees 980 sq.ft. With unseasoned wet wood, 82 on first floor,74 on second and that was with blower off and adjusted on low fire.. Buy the blower, noisy but does the job, just shut off at night if bedrooms are near. Noticed that upon cold firing, unit will smoke into room unless I open window or door for cold draft which may persuade me to install fresh air intake but I can live with one minute of cold draft for now. My friend who grew up with wood stoves loved being able to see the fire along with the massive heat output of unit, now he wants to replace his stove at home with this unit.
