I use this as a small mini infrared sauna. i have to exercise within a few feet of it but it will produce a deep sweat if the room isnt too cold.

This heater is worth the money!!

[...] I use this heater in an old converted small warehouse that was made into two seperate offices. My office is about 12X16. This heater fulls my office with warm air very nicely. It got down in the low 30s outside this other night and my office was toasty warm! I would not use this heater in a bedroom or anywhere near little kids though. The front gets pretty hot. Great for shops, open spaces.

I love my little bit of sunshine!
Keep the house at 60 degrees and put my heater on when I sit to relax or watch TV.
Also great in the bathroom for the extra warmth while showering and drying up after.
Puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day!
Wish I had more then one.
It is not suitable for the bedroom at night because it is very bright.

Was a little concerned of all the plastic housing at first, but Love it, puts out enough heat at 400 watts to warm me my 12, x 14 ft. room, and the bathroom after a half hour! Using 1/3 the energy of the coil heater I used last Winter!!! So nice on cold chilly nights! Am going to buy one for my Dad, and Mother!!

Puts out a lot of heat quietly. Safety feature turns unit off if you knock into it, takes a while to reset.
