I bought a Vanguard vent free fireplace and blower 5 years ago. Neither has ever worked properly. Repairmen aren't familiar with them. I boughtv a replacement part and that worked for a season, now that doesn't work. When they work right they are very pleasant and efficient, but don't get a Vanguard.
