This gives us a beautiful fire in a fireplace that we rarely used before converting it to gas. It creates a wonderful atmosphere for the room, throws off a lot of heat, and looks beautiful to boot.

We have always had real woodburning fireplaces and now faced with a vent-free situation searched for a good-looking log set. This set fits the bill. Our only negative is it smells when you first use it, but after several days of burning, the smell seems to have disappeared.

One of the best looking gas log sets out there. The instructions were not sufficient to set all the logs into the proper place. You will need to also consult the log pictures found online.
Don't let the smell keep you from buying this set. All vent-free gas heaters are prone to this. It is not objectionable, just noticeable. Even in a large room, this set will put out some serious heat.

Delivery was prompt.
One of the logs was broken as received. No box damage was noted.

This is by far the best log set We've seen. The flames dance irregularly like a real wood fire. We use it unvented when it's cold outside and when it's not, vented.
No smell from this whatsoever, but we have a open area and a home that is about 2800 sq. ft.
