A Vanguard Vent-Free Gas Fireplace Insert is an ideal way to turn an unsightly, sooted or damaged wood burning masonry fireplace into a beautiful, 99.9% heating efficient vent-free appliance. The unit simply slides into and existing fireplace or recess into a wall, hook to gas, and presto! - you will have a beautiful, efficient gas fireplace. The vent free design requires no chimney and offers safe, reliable heat for pennies an hour.

The Vanguard Zero-Clearance Fireplace Insert features a beautiful charcoal textured paint finish, heat circulating louvers and concealed remote ready controls. The fiber ceramic logs have realistic bark, detailed split and charred areas. The revolutionary one-piece multi-log design ensures proper placement.

There are several accessories available to further enhance the performance or appearance of your Vanguard Vent-Free Gas Insert. The GS38 and GS43 surrounds feature polished brass trim and allow the installation to conceal your existing fireplace opening. There are four remote controls available: an on/off wall switch, wall thermostat, hand held on/off or thermostat remote control.

The unit came with good complete instructions on how to install unit, which was very easy.I have a large family room that was always cold, now it warms up the room within 10 minutes.I have had many good comments from my friends how nice it looks & how fast it heats up my family room.
