Worth it when done. The product states no electric needed and this is untrue. it comes with a 110 plug for the blower. The intallation instructions can be vague at times and napoleon was not very helpful when called.

Comments about Napoleon Inspiration Basic Direct Vent Fireplace Insert with Glass and Trim Kit - GDI-44N:

Installation was easy. We already had a gas hookup. It looks great and puts off plenty of heat. We turned the burners down. It takes about a half hour for the fan to come on after the burner ignights and 15 min for it to shut off after the burner goes off. Fan speed is manually adjustable. It could use some directional louvres on the blower heat outlet. You can not sit within 6 or 8 ft of the fireplace for more than a few minutes- too hot.

Be sure to get the decorative brick inserts & remote.
