I installed this unit (Except the final connection to the gas) myself. It was very easy. I am a carpenter which helps so I framed everything my self. I cannot tell you how pleased both my wife & I are with this unit. We like it so much, we now want to install a smaller unit in our bedroom. Not that we need anymore heat but for ambiance. Thank You!

Easy to operate, warms the room up so well you have to turn it off after a short time! The logs and embers are so beautiful you want to just sit and watch it! The red firebrick available that goes around the firebox really sets it off!
