Our mantel was constructed with one trim piece of wood that was almost white in color. It looked out of place compared to the rest of the wood and needed 3 coats of stain to somewhat match. Overall construction is very good but help is needed at the factory to match the wood better. The factory used wood filler in several areas. Would be no issues if painted. Instructions for mounting were included using parts that were not included, well that's an issue.
