Comments about Pearl CS 42, Aeroeffect with Air Push Control:
I wish I could have tried this out first. There are changes I would make. First I would have ordered the tub that had "Electronic multi speed control and 2 pulse systems".(the CS 06 model), This tub has one speed-fast and invorating. I would like a choice of a lower speed. For the extra $187 it would be worth it for the variety. The CS 06 also says it has "oval-shaped heated backrest providing you a warm sensation across the entire back and neck". I think that I would like that. The one light is great, two might be better. I don't even need candles. Get the 6 foot model if you can. We did. I'm only 5'1" and the tub doesn't feel too big.
All these tubs say they have "Pre-warmed air pushed through an FDA-approved tube". They don't. The air that is pushed is air temperature air. It feels cold coming in because your tub water is a lot warmer than that. It is a minor thing. I don't know how it could be different unless I had a heater inside the surround to heat that tube and that would be a problem-how to turn it on and off.
Use a mircofiber cloth to wipe the tub when you get out and you won't have clean it. After you empty the tub (about 10-15 minutes)the motor comes on and blows out the airtube. I use bath salts and also bubble bath(not much) and haven't had any trouble. I like the air tub better than the whirlpool tub I had before.
We had this tub installed by our plumber and everything worked. Then the first time I used it, the lights wouldn't work. Our carpenter figured out the wire for the lights get wiggled where they went into the box and fixed it.
I love sitting in my tub in the dark with the light on. It can rotate thru the colors or you can stop it on the color you like. Then I can look out my window and enjoy the trees, sky, stars and sometimes even the moon.
But go for the extra features on the CS 06. I wish I had. Maybe in my next house. :) I wouldn't recommend this model unless you just can't afford the extra money for the upgrade.Then I would.
The delivery was very good. They called up the night before so we could be at the site when it arrived. It arrived in good condition. The house took longer to build then we thought it was going to and so next time I would wait a little longer to order.
I didn't need to use customer service.
