Design great, installation not so nice

Comments about Hansa Stela, Wall Mount Tub Spout - 578221000017:

I really like the design of this spout - a clean contemporary look that's not too stark.

However, I wound up being unable to use it because of the extremely tight installation requirements. The distance from the tile face to the end of the internal spout holder must be within 1/8th inch! Normal pipe stubs are in 1/2" intervals so unless you're lucky or were very careful in positioning the plumbing rough-in you'll have trouble installing it.

Contrast this with the Toto spout I eventually bought - it allowed 3/4" play so was easy to install.
