This toilet is in our guest powder room. I hated our old toliet, it clogged and never flushed well. The Toto has been flaw free. I'm delighted with it's style. Looks beautiful and works like a dream. When we remodel our addtional bathrooms, we will buy Toto Toliets for sure! The self close seat (optional) works great.

We purchased this toilet because we wanted to replace the cheap builder installed toilet that came with the house when we bought it. We already had a Toto in our upstairs bathroom and were extremely satisfied with it. So having remodeled the guest bathroom we now wanted to add another Toto. The designs that Toto offers is more than adequete for any bathroom decor that any house has. The Gmax flush system is so powerful that you can throw the plungers away. With this toilet we were looking for 3 things, design, maximum water flush, and ADA or handicapped compliant. All were met to the highest of our expectations. In fact when we actually received the toilet via UPS it looked even better than on the photo from the website.
The toilet came with excellent instuctions and was easy to install, it was very well packaged with no damage anywhere. A small hint when installing is to get one of the larger wax rings that comes with new mounting hardware. Before installation take the ring and microwave it for about 2 minutes, this softens it and then makes seating the bowl on the flange a cakewalk. We also needed a new supply line as we went ADA which makes the tank higher up from the standard toilet heights. Yes take my advise even if you are not in need of an ADA toilet get one, with the softclose seat it adds about 2 inches in height which is a nice addition, and like I said there are many toilet styles to choose from. So we are so happy with the Toto's we decided to purchase another one for out master bath, this has been done and now all of our toilets are Toto. As for the question of expensive, well it is a very reliable, functional, well made item, that does what it preaches. It is very nioe not to have to even contemplate the use of a plunger and the G Max flush system seems to be equal to thse loud power assist flushes some people have in their home but without the noise. All I can say is buy one, install, and then contemplate where and what style you will be buying as you add another to your next bathroom.
