We had our last house built in 1995, unknown to us that our toillets were first generation of low water flow ones. Boys, for 15 years, the cloggings were mind blogging. We blaimed and made fun of each others to no ends. When we moved and bought a house this time, my sons wanted to fix the house up to their standards, and the first thing on their list was "the best working toillet on earth, at any cost". I did research for months, from water pressure style, to gravity, to air pressure, ect...then came up with Toto Soiree with Sanagloss.
What can I say? We are very happy with this toillet. At first, its quiet flush gave us some doubt because my sons expected some kind of "explosive force" to get rid of our waste. But this toillet performed an excellent task very time, no failure, completely clean with very little water. We are still amazed at its performance every time we use it, especially my son. Now he thinks very highly of my "scientific research" for ... toillet.
Ha! how could he have doubt in the first place?

What a toilet!
style....the pictures make it look odd, but in person is a really nice design,.
function....I have always loved the toto flushing system, but the circular flush of the soiree is awesome.

price......expensive, but worth 100-200 extra over another toto one piece toilet.

I have only been using it for about a month and it is in my guest bathroom. So far I have no complaints.

Sleak design that the wife like and it's low water usage works well with the quick and quiet flush system.

This is one of the better toilet out of the water conserved toilets. It flushes well and quiet. I will recommend this to anyone who wants a new toilet. Just make sure to pay attention to the installation requirements because the space that it needs for installation is a little different than standard.

Unit easy to install, Unifit kit works well but different from most toilets. Flush action is great and our plumber did not believe it swallowed as much paper as it did. Since toilet is skirted, make sure water feed line clearance is sufficient for toilet!! We only had 1/4 clearance on one of the ones we put in. Soft close seat works great!! Highly recommend "comfort height" over standard toilet, the inch really makes a difference.

I am very impressed with the way it flushes. I was very hesitant to buy a new low flow toilet in our remodel. I found myself testing various models at hotels and restaurants for months before I made a decision. This is one I bought without ever having seen because of the description of its action. And the reputation of the manufacturer. As an Engineer I am impressed with the thought that was put into its design. Sometimes I flush it just to watch it flush. It is a well engineered toilet, stylish and very easy to clean. I am already planning on getting another.

Definitely seems to flush a bit better than other TOTO toilets (we have two GMaxs). Sani-Gloss does work to reduce skid marks. Replaced an old 5 gallon unit which clogged way too often (too much fiber?) and hasn't clogged yet after several weeks.

Biggest issue is the need for a wide (more than 5") offset (from the centerline) water supply and stop. I managed to make the existing stop fit by taking the handle off, and I'll replace it soon with a 1/4 turn stop that I found with a small handle.

Small issues: The Unifit definitely requires a plain wax ring (I prefer waxless) and you need to get bolts and nuts with the wax ring to mount the Unifit thingie to the closet flange as the included bolts appear to be intended for mounting the toilet to the Unifit.

Don't make the mistake of using the included bolts for the Unifit/flange joint because regular toilet bolts are too long -- they're hidden behind little removable panels and you won't be able to put the toilet down properly or trim them in place. Luckily, the Unifit means that you can remove the toilet without disturbing the wax ring -- I did this a couple of times since I had to shorten a pair of regular bolts (having used the correct bolts earlier).
