Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nice unit for the price. However, when istalling above 2000' elev. instructions say to increase to 6" vent pipe which requires you to special order an adapter that will go from 5" to 6" this is not a commonly stocked item at the home centers. Also, it was inconvenient to run around trying to find shut off valves, couplers and etc. to connect the water lines and pressure relief valve to the house plumbing. It would be nice if these parts were included with the water heater. Overall, it is a nice unit for the $$$ and I probably would purchase another if I needed to.
